48VDC – Fixed rpm 

This system is dedicated to the Telecommunications field. The power output is direct 48V DC, without inverters, and it is capable to supply average loads that vary from 2,5kW to 4,5kW.
The system is composed by a fixed speed engine that moves a multiphase alternator with a rectifier bridge on board, capable to supply the load and simultaneous to recharge the internal batteries.
The principle of functioning provides that the engine recharges the batteries until a certain level, and when they reach that level the engine stops and leaves the supply in charge of the batteries.
This system is thought for off grid application or for unreliable grid application (where the mains supply is discontinuous).

The pros of these system are to optimize the consumptions, decrease the engine running hours and lengthen the service intervals.

 48VDC – Adjustable rpm

This system works in the same way as it works the fixed speed version. The only difference stays in the type of engine and alternator that work at variable speed.
The alternator used is a permanent magnet type able to offer slightly better efficiencies compared to a standard alternator.

230/400VAC to 48VDC Fixed rpm with battery charger

Staying in the telecommunications field the output of this unit is the same as the two previous model. The difference stays in the configuration and how it does it. The generator is a standard generator, equipped with a battery charger capable to turn the trhee phase output of the generator into a 48V Direct Current.
Furthermore this unit is not equipped with the battery pack as this is meant to supply directly the BTS (Base Tranceiver Station), and to keep charged the back-up batteries into the BTS itself.
With this option there will be also the possibility to have AC output upon request.
The pros of these system, again, are to optimize the consumptions, decrease the engine running hours and lengthen the service intervals.
